PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN FUKOIDAN PADA PAKAN TERHADAP RESPON IMUN NON SPESIFIK INDUK IKAN NILA (OREOCHROMIS NILOTICUS)

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk melihat  pengaruh  bahan aktif fukoidan  komersil pada berbagai dosis terhadap respon  kekebalan induk  nila (Oreochromis niloticus).  Disain penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri atas 4 perlakuan (A = pakan + fukoidan komersil 0% sebagai kontrol; B = pakan + fukoidan komersil 0,1%; C = pakan + fukoidan komersil 0,2%; dan D  = pakan + fukoidan komersil 0,3%) masing-masing  diulang sebanyak  2  kali. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan penambahan fukoidan komersil dalam pakan akan meningkatkan respon kekebalan non spesifik pada induk ikan nila. Nilai respon kekebalan tertinggi diperoleh  pada konsentrasi fukoidan komersil  0,3 %, dengan kadar haematokrit  38.8000±2.92, indeks fagositik  32.1833±3.29,  total leukosit  142.67±58.97 sel/mm3, diferensial leukosit terdiri atas limfosit 90.2333±0.87%, monosit 6.0500±0.40%, dan neutrofil 24.9500±6.08%.
